Thank you for visiting our website.  I would like to take this opportunity to welcome you and tell you a little about us.

Maine Medical Group Management Association (MeMGMA) is a state affiliate of the national association upon which many of us have come to rely on, Medical Group Management Association (MGMA).  At the local level we bring education and networking opportunities to Medical Practice Managers and other members of the healthcare team.  We provide education that addresses issues we face on a daily basis.  By attending these programs, we not only learn valuable information, but we are able to network with peers from all over the state.  This provides managers with a valuable support system.

Along with discounted education programs, for a small annual membership fee, our association provides access to legal council on wage and hour laws and other human resource matters.  Also, there is access to a medical billing resource who may answer billing and coding questions.

Our next annual conference will be in May 2008 at the beautiful historic Mount Washington Hotel in New Hampshire.  We are planning this conference as a joint venture with New Hampshire, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island MGMA.  This relationship has afforded us the opportunity to bring a heartier conference to the memberships.
